Singapore: The Online Advantage
Singapore's e-Visa (called EPAS) is applied online and linked electronically to your passport. No sticker, no stamp needed until you arrive. Processing takes 3 business days, the fee is modest, and approval rates are among the highest in Asia for Indians. The downside: you must apply in advance — you can't get it at the border.

Thailand: The Visa on Arrival Option
Thailand's Visa on Arrival (VOA) is available at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Phuket, and Chiang Mai airports. Cost is 2,000 THB (≈₹4,800) paid in cash at the counter. The catch: VOA queues can be very long — sometimes 2+ hours — and you need cash in Thai Baht. We recommend applying for an e-Visa before travel to skip the queue entirely.
